Databricks-Certified Tutor

Dlytica Academy is looking for an experienced, Databricks-certified professional with strong industry expertise and a passion for teaching.

The ideal candidate will deliver practical, industry-focused training and help learners build job-ready skills using the Databricks Lakehouse Platform and modern Data Engineering technologies.

Role Summary

As a Databricks Tutor, you will design and deliver engaging online training sessions, mentor learners from diverse backgrounds, and guide them through hands-on exercises, certification preparation, and real-world Data Engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Deliver structured, practical, and engaging Databricks training sessions
✅ Teach undergraduate, graduate, and professional learners
✅ Design and regularly update industry-relevant course content
✅ Provide hands-on training through practical projects and use cases
✅ Guide learners in preparing for Databricks certification exams
✅ Mentor learners and support their technical development
✅ Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
✅ Maintain strong learner engagement and measurable outcomes

Mandatory Requirements

✅ Valid Databricks certification
✅ Minimum three years of relevant hands-on industry experience after completing a bachelor’s degree
✅ Strong practical knowledge of:

• Databricks Lakehouse Platform
• Apache Spark and PySpark
• Python and SQL
• Delta Lake
• ETL/ELT pipeline development
• Data Warehousing and Data Modeling
• Medallion Architecture
• Databricks Workflows and Jobs
• Unity Catalog and Data Governance
• At least one cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP

✅ Excellent professional English communication and presentation skills
✅ Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
✅ Confidence in delivering practical and interactive online sessions
✅ Availability to teach remotely three days per week

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Multiple or advanced Databricks certifications
⭐ Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience
⭐ Experience preparing learners for Databricks certification exams
⭐ Ability to create practical, industry-aligned learning materials
⭐ Strong awareness of current Databricks features and industry trends

Eligibility Notice

❌ Applicants without a valid Databricks certification will not be considered.
❌ Applicants with only academic or training experience and no relevant industry exposure will not be considered.

🕒 Employment Type: Part-time
📅 Commitment: 2-4 days per week
