DevOps Engineer

Are you a candidate who will design and execute new initiatives to standardize systems, automate designs, build tooling, and optimize operations to reduce implementation cycle times, eliminate service downtime, optimize performance, and ensure that all security and compliance requirements are fully governed?

Requirements:

• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code and practical application of IaC to manage infrastructure.
• Observe and provide feedback on the current state of the client’s infrastructure, and identify opportunities to improve resiliency, reduce the occurrence of incidents and automate repetitive administrative and operational tasks.
• Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving
• Professional Cloud Infrastructure experience in AWS / Azure
• Experience with implementing provisioning of infrastructure utilizing Terraform. (either open source, Enterprise, or cloud Terraform products)
• Experience with Cloud formation, Terraform templates, and AWS/Azure APIs
• Develop standards, practices, tools, and automation to migrate applications to the cloud efficiently and securely
• Remain current on IT trends pertaining to their area of practice (e.g., Agile, DevOps, Cloud, Microservices, containers, Open Source community projects/developments).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps / Similar to AWS
• PowerShell and batch script
• Experience in using open-source monitoring tools like Data Dog, App Dynamic, Grafana, Prometheus
• A strong desire to learn, teach, document, and practice new skills is a must.
• Contribute to, improve, and maintain team documentation about client systems and infrastructure, procedures, policies, and schedules.
• Propose, scope, design, and implement various infrastructure architectures

Nice to Have:

• At least 2+ years of experience in one of the AWS/Azure/GCP DevOps
• AWS/Azure Certifications(Optional)
• Knowledge of Networks like VPN, DNS firewall
